This three-day intensive is about the nuts & bolts of setting up a practice, with specific solutions that you can put into place easily and cheaply to help you manage your time, your record-keeping, your client relationships, your vendor relationships, and your marketing opportunities. You will learn strategies and specific skills about these topics:
➡ Bookkeeping, accounting, taxes, specially targeted for health practitioners: what to do, when to do it, and how to do it simply and reliably. Simple financial statements, how to read them, and why they matter.
➡ Business plans: how to scale this valuable tool to fit your needs, why and when to write one, and what to do with it once you've written it.
➡ Licenses, permits, fees, legal obligations and why you need to have a quality shredder.
➡The new Chi Nei Tsang Institute Certified Practitioner Code of Ethics: what it is, how it affects you, everything you need to know including the importance of using the correct Client Release Form with every client and critical information about SB577, the California law which governs the practice of CNT.
➡ Record-keeping: what to file and how to file it, and great techniques to get it done painlessly.
➡ Scheduling your time: how to manage your appointment calendar, make your business grow, and keep your clients from running your life.
➡ Marketing for fun and profit: this area is critical to your business success. It can be done cheaply and effectively with a little imagination and effort. We'll explain how and why, with great tips and resources to make it easy and personal to you. We'll cover identity, print advertising, collateral, web, internet advertising, networking, special events, public relations, how to manage your mailing list, and a few "guerrilla" techniques just to keep it interesting.
